Google Analytics Just Can't Tell You The Real Bounce Rate?
Clicktale explain:
'Google Analytics doesn't tell you anything about how long bounced visitors spend on your site."
"they don't know how long your visitors are really spending on your exit pages."
The reason why they claim google Analytics have no idea how long your visitors are actually interacting with your online content, according to them
Google Analytics records a “Time on Page”, denoting the time a visitor spends looking at each page in your website. It does this in three stages:
1. Google Analytics records the time your visitor opens the first page.
2. Google Analytics records the time your visitor opens the next page.
3. Google Analytics subtracts these two times and calls the result “Time on Page”.
They point is If the visitor doesn't move through your site, Google Analytics can’t record a second page being opened, so it has no way of knowing how long a bounced visitor, who only visits one page, spent on your website.
what you can do about it!

Google Analytics Vs Clicktale Real Time Bounce Rate
© http://wwwebog.blogspot.com
I've never relied on Google Analytics for detailed bounce rate info. There are plenty of other tools out there, from the expensive to the cheap, that do this. So while I think it's a good feature for Clicktale to add I don't see it as anything groundbreaking. I do love the idea of integration with email marketing.
